Anyone else saw it? It's about a great white shark that terrorizes this surfer.
I have to say, this was a really well shot thriller that was tense and suspenseful.
It was that summer movie I was looking for and A MUCH GREATER alternative to ID4 Resurgence.

I thought it was pretty good, and Blake Lively is hot. Fun to watch and a couple of surprises.

Really surprised by how good it was basically 127 hours with a shark

Saw it yesterday. Overall, thought it was a good movie, at least better than others similar to it.
Obviously low budget, but I thought there was some really good camera work and some beautiful shots of the setting. They also did a great job of letting the plot come full circle.
Favorite part: Blake Lively. Acting was decent, but man, she looked fine as frick in that bikini. I expected it somewhat, but she looked even better than I expected. At times, it seemed like there was a magnetic field between her arse and the camera.
Least favorite: How she goes about defeating it seemed a bit unrealistic, but whatever. I can gloss over it for 50 close-ups of Blake's hiney.

Saw this over the weekend, and it was pretty great for about 90% of the movie.
Spoilers...
But the last ten minutes or so (how she defeats the shark and gets saved) were pretty overly stupid.
I can get behind the shark holding her on the rock because it thinks she is prey. That's fine. But in the end when the shark basically starts thinking like a human and literally going insane trying to get her was just completely fricking stupid and ridiculous. I mean, it was literally jumping out of the water and munching on a giant metal buoy. Over and over.
And then the way she defeats the shark was even more stupid. She isn't anywhere near fast enough to move out of its way, and it isn't going to simply slam itself into the ground and impale itself on the reef/spikes. I'm all about suspension of belief for movies, but that was so overly idiotic that it basically ruined the movie for me. And up until the end, I thought it was a really good movie. But man those last few minutes just turned me off completely. It's like they couldn't figure out how to end it and just said "frick it."

Agreed.
Spoiler
The way the shark died was dumb but otherwise I really enjoyed it.
