I'm amazed at the number of people who watch this show while being annoyed by it. I was the same way. Last week I turned it off and decided in done with it. Last night I deleted it from my DVR. It's liberating. I feel happier by not watching that crap.

I think you missed a good episode last night. It definitely was toned back. You can tell this season is a little different than the last.

Mackenzie's are nice also.

They're amazing.

This is the only show I truly hate watch. I find certain parts really entertaining, but I find the other 75-80% of the parts to be stilted (that's a good word for the Movie Board, right), pretentious, and overly idealistic.

same here. except i went back a few hours later, finished it, and realized i had just wasted more time.

yet here i am, looking for evidence that this weeks episode was worth a damn, knowing full well im probably gonna give a try here pretty soon.

Agreed. This season has been solid so far. That said, Maggie's character is bordering on the brink of unbearable.

I would rather Jeff Daniels take a hot dump on my chest than watch Newsroom.

Maggie is awful. Awful, awful. The show needs more of McKenzie's rack, more of all of Sloan, and zero Maggie.

Yet you flock to a thread titled "The Newsroom July 21" lol.

Seems like that dump isn't something you would hate.

I'm more concerned about what this Genoa business is.

Sorkin has already said that the story is based on CNN's blown coverage of Operation Tailwind... I'll leave it at that if you'd rather just watch them all (which I am either way).
