The movie Twins. Did Vince keep a million?

I can't count how many times I've watched this movie, but watched it recently and had a light come on. Vince was suppose to get 5 mil for the jet engine. 2nd to last scene Vince talks about giving the 4 mil back (instead of 5) and I always thought it was just a movie screw up. It never occurred to me that Vince kept 1 mil and didn't tell Julius. Anyone else ever notice?

It has easily been at least 15 years since I've seen this movie, but I vaguely remember something about De Vito getting some money out of the deal as you described. Didn't they stary a business or something and use it as seed money? I don't know. It's been a while.

There is a point in the movie after he calls the guy that is buying the engine where he says 5 million dollars like 5 times so at the end yes when he says 4 million dollars a bunch you get that he kept a million. I watched this movie a lot as a kid.

Exactly. He says it specifically stressing the "four million" to show that they kept a million of it.
It's been a minute since I've seen the movie, but IMO it's very hard for someone to watch that scene and not take away from it that they had intentionally kept the million.
