The Mick on fox - is it worth a damn?

i have a category of tv shows that i watch while eating lunch or dinner if i'm solo. the sort of stupid/silly 30 minute comedy that's enjoyable and doesn't require too much attention (i.e. new girl, brooklyn 99, you're the worst, broad city, etc.)
would you say the mick falls into this category? i wouldn't have given it a second thought, but i saw it was renewed for a second season. thought for sure it would have been cancelled after seeing trailers for the first season.

It's quite funny! Especially Mick's boyfriend. Also, it has a great cast all around and the writing is solid.

This is one of those shows that's almost good. I really like the cast and they have had a few hilariously absurd moments, but the writing in general has been pretty meh. I'm hoping season 2 is better.

Oh yeah, they just make her look super young. Her face is amazing, but the body still looks like a 2x4. She MAY have packed on a tiny bit of arse.

Very good and funny show.
Its better than it looks. Rosa the maid is good too. You never know what is gonna be said next.
