Taco is kind of Kramer esque. Bat shite crazy but a hidden super-genius considering his recent financial success.
He exists solely so the other characters can play off of him and have "WTF reactions" to him. I'd personally like to see him go into a coma and come out a normal person, that would be the tits.
Now 3 years in of his schtick, he does fall into the "less is more" ala Rafi IMO. Most people that watch the show probably would tell you Ruxin or Pete are their favorite characters.
My personal hierarchy as far as comedy goes:
Ruxin
Andre
Pete
Kevin
Taco

It's probably just because I'm married, but I find the interaction between Kevin and his wife as the funniest part of the show.
I hate Pete almost as much as I hate Taco.
Andre can be funny, just because we all have that friend that we keep around just so we can shite on them

One thing that no one ever really mentions about this show is that the writing is never really all that impressive. It's a lot of formulaic sit com shite. The difference between The League and other shows is the improvisational talent of the actors involved and the freedom they're given.

Rafi, on the other hand, is a complete sham of a character. He deserves minimal screen time and typically only for cheap laughs. Like "Oh, there's that crazy Rafi again. OH! He just tried to stab Kevin who he calls Brian! Hilarious. Okay, good, now he's gone." Never to be seen again that episode. He's like a dessert. You like him, but you don't want to have the whole fricking dinner be him. Otherwise you end up vomiting chocolate. And that's never good.
ETA: We need more Andre hate. That shite is hilarious.

Taco had a line in the paintball ep that made laugh out loud. When him and Pete are counting down and right after they get to 1, he stops Pete and says "I banged (insert name)". The timing and delivery, coupled with the dejected look on Pete's face were great.
