Just finished it. Guessing it's a simple case of rich guy getting away with murder, but shite is wild. I'm even more interested after this one. Wish I could watch the rest

I could see him getting off with killing his wife. From what I can tell a body was never found.

Can't wait to figure out how the shite his lawyers got him off of the one in Galveston.

I'm so fascinated by guys like him. It's amazing how far people can carry a lie. I wonder if he is just constantly filled with anxiety and guilt.

I think there's a point with a lie that big that eventually the bullshite you are selling becomes reality to yourself in your brain because you are just always defending it that way. Your mind convinces itself, so well sometimes that I think it even remembers things years later in a way that you want them to be moreso than the truth

Very engrossing. I read an article that said this show as the "TV version of Serial". I sort of agree.

He seems like a pyschopath. He's had a ton of issues from childhood (suicide of mother at young age, pressure from father to go down road he didn't want, cold father combined with no other parenting figure most of life). Dude has issues. By all accounts he was very charismatic at a young age. Could be a case of a pyschopath who can do unspeakable things, feel nothing, and lie about it with such ease and conviction.

That's my take so far.

Agree with all of this. He claims his father woke him up to "look at mommy" through a hall window. If the Dad did that to his 7 year old son, knowing she was about to jump, he's as responsible for these murders as Bob Durst. Regardless Robert is a complete sociopath. He seems like an alien among another race not able to understand simple concepts and never be fully aware of his current situation. And this alien happens to be violent from childhood trauma.

I'm on mobile, so I'm not going to dig for the link, but I saw a statement from his family that said he lied about a lot of his childhood. His dad was involved in their lives, and he never saw his mother on the roof. He was woken up with all the other children after she died.
