The editing was horrible in the last movie. The battle was just all over the place, so I don't even know where to begin. I was really really disappointed in how they portrayed the final battle, including Dain being a damn cartoon. I try to not even think about Beorn's bull shite air drop at the end.

This was one movie where they could have literally stuck with the way the book played out the battle and it would have been much better. There was no need for a 2nd Orc army from Agband; there was no need for having all that close quarter combat in Dale, and most of all, there was no fricking need to have that 30 minute showdown on the ice with the Orc leadership. JESUS frickING CHRIST I was pissed; was it too much to ask to have Thorin be mortally wounded in the thick of battle while Beorn ferociously cut his way through the Orcs to try and save him? I mean was that too fricking much to ask? No wolves? No Eleven archers destroying the Orc ranks?

I will stop before I punch my fricking computer screen.

The Hobbit was unforgivable, I am a purist but overlooked changes to LOTR. I understood axing Tom Bombadil or the death of Saurman/no Scouring of the Shire. But sorry just in the last Hobbit movie, Dain rides a pig to battle, what the frick. Where did the rams come from and why run up a mountain. The battle was totally confusing of as frick. Trolls running at city walls, catapults on Troll backs. Comic clown of a character dressing like a woman and stealing gold, riding a cart down a street into...whatever that thing was a half-troll or just shitty looking orc. I mean seriously for decades I was saying the Hobbit would make a better movie/movies then LOTR but Jesus the movies were horrible. Only part I really loved was the Dwarves coming to Bilbo's house in the first one.
