But forreal, so it's a comedy? Yeah I'm too lazy to do any research on this movie.

I'm trying to stay calm here.

Just tell me you saw and loved Bloodsport so that we can all walk out of here alive.

Lionheart is actually pretty fun. Give it a chance. It's got JCVD street fighting dudes and a homeless crazy black man as his manager. How can you go wrong?

The cool thing about JCVD movies is he's pretty much done 5 or 6 movies that were exact replicas of Bloodsport only in different time periods and countries. And he did like 3 scripts that mimicked Lionheart. The old formula used to just be let him take his shirt off, do the splits and fight people. frick the script.

So I'm guessing that movie poster is photoshopped.

Oh shite..I thought you were kidding earlier.

Lionheart is an enjoyable B movie about backyard fighting. It's actually a decent movie.

Come on, man. Bloodsport and Kickboxer were the shite back in the day.

Yeah that comment was kind of excluding Bloodsport. No worries.

You tell me this doesn't at least pique your interest and I'll kiss your arse:

And here is a trailer apparently when it had a different title (A.W.O.L.):

I'm on my phone and I kept zooming in and I was like "that's a freaking dragon in the background". Kind of odd.

I mean I was like 3-4 when those came out and I enjoyed them when I finally got around to seeing them. They just don't have the nostalgia value with me. And I just never went out of my way to see his other movies that's all.

Too many viewers slowing the network down is the only reason I can think if for this not being on instant on Netflix. But I bumped it up to position 5 on my DVD's.

I need to see this. I've said all along that JCVD should have been an Oscar-winner but was typecast b/c he was foreign. Supposedly this is the movie that proves me right.

Time magazine named Jean-Claude Van Damme's performance in the film the second best of the year (after Heath Ledger's The Joker in The Dark Knight),[6] having previously stated that Van Damme "deserves not a black belt, but an Oscar".

TRUE STORY: JCVD wouldn't sign on for the Expendables because he wanted to be taken serious as an actor lolz.

He must have invested his money REALLY well to be turning down roles at this point.

that's what I couldn't believe. I could have swore I read that he was totally broke like 2 years ago. The Expendables would have been right up his alley.

I love hearing stories like that.
Like Will Smith turning down The Matrix so he could do Wild Wild West. Didn't hurt him in the long run though.

Will Smith turning down roles, even in 1999, is WAAAAAAY different than JCVD turning down a role...ever, but especially in 2010.

But Will Smith wasn't dancing on a corner asking people to put money in his hat. Nor was he taking pictures of his dick and selling it on the intrawebz.
