Agreed. The CGI was rough but I still enjoyed the movie and will rewatch.

Just average for me. I thought the third act was complete nonsense

There's an ok movie somewhere in there in between the PS2 cutscenes.

The third act was Oscar worthy compared to that opening sequence at the hospital lol

We just finished watching this. As much as I dislike Ezra Miller personally, he is really good in this role. That was an excellent movie.

I didn't watch this when it came out in theater due to the synder verse ending. Now that I seen it, what a shame, both for the story and Erza kidnapping spree. You got to see some empathetic acting here from him other than being a goof ball.

The choice to save his family was selfish but very humanizing. Also, wouldn't this be the first hispanic superhero before blue beetle? Thats the vibe I got anyway.

The first act with the hospital...no...just no. The past arc from start to finish was great. CGI was shitty at places and I couldn't help but lament they didn't polish it.

I found I actually like young barry hopeful attitude and kinda ship him with Supergirl. The Iris west was bad though, its so bad that I would have preferred the Iris west from TV.

That said, I realized that the multiverse works better with DC than Marvel. Why? Because DC actually have movies that have been made with an alternative take on it. What more, those movies are beloved by the general audience. Marvel on the other hand only have one iteration and amny of the alternate takes did not do well. Simply put, they didn't earn a true multiverse yet.

DC can pull George reeve superman, christopher one, TV show batman, clooney era batman etc etc.

Overall, a lot better than expected. I'd watch it again.

I guess I'm worn out with the time travel do-overs in superhero stories. Telling the same stories again and again, except with different lead characters. Plus the addition of 'nostalgic characters' like Nicholas Cage, that never actually existed on film in any universe

Just finished it. Enjoyed it. Actually, enjoyed it more than I thought I would. 2+ hours of Ezra I thought was going to wear on my nerves, but he does a good job. An enjoyable summertime flick.

The movie makes you realize what a missed opportunity the whole Snyderverse was.

How the hell do y'all think Ezra is good as Barry? He's horrible.

I went into it with as open a mind as possible. It’s just not a very good movie.

This is a fun movie to watch at home. Really enjoying Keaton and the kitchen fight, that’s where I’m at this point watching.

There are worse ways to spend an evening than watching the Flash movie.

It was better than I expected. BUT…

Three things:

First, I never really liked the actor playing the Flash or his take on Barry’s character. I just don’t like him as written or acted. Weird personality I just don’t like.

Second, my God, the CGI. Awful.

Third, I still don’t understand how the Fastest Man Alive can be played by someone who runs like someone who has never run before in his life.

Still, despite all that, incredibly… I kind of liked it.

Ezra Miller is terrible. I hated him from the first time I saw him as the flash.
This movie was shite.

And the flash is my favorite comic book hero. I literally watched all of the CW series, and enjoyed it for the most part, and that’s embarrassing to say as an almost 40 year old man.

I enjoyed it, but I’m still not sure what happened at the end with all the old actors and stuff.

I watched it yesterday afternoon. The jokes were kind of meh, and I half expected there to be a sad trombone sound every time he cracked one.

It wasn’t a bad movie, just not something I’d watch again.

I’m not gonna lie though, seeing Christopher Reeve as Superman again kinda hit me in the feels.

I'd say that's a fair way to put it. The Batman parts were decent but it wasn't memorable and I won't be watching it again.
