There we 3 guys that came out of the bar after him, what happened to the third guy? Was he the one that was slumped over the bar when the Indian shot the bartender? I don't remember the third guy getting shot...

Took off running. Didn't get shot.

I'm assuming the third guy just went and hid.

This show can do no wrong. I hope I'm not jinxing it...We know they will have to tie up the loose end with the whole "UFO" thing. I really have no idea where they are going with that angle, even if it is just misleading and ends up being something else.

And don't forget about the room with all the alien shite hanging up at the sheriff's house.

I'm sure they will resolve the UFO angle to some degree, it just may not be complete...they did get renewed for a third season after all. It was a UFO sighting that started this whole mess after all

One thing I didn't understand on the timeline...

If the Indian was the guy who gave the sheriff the knock upside the head with the rifle stock, why didn't he stick around the house?

He went missing when Dodd went downstairs and got himself cattle prodded. Why would he leave like that? Two men were shot (pretty quick), why did the Indian leave so fast?

The Indian went with Bear and the boys to the jail to get the son and the butcher out of jail. When the Indian saw the butcher being taken out the back way, he followed. He never had time to check back with Dodd.

This show never fails to deliver. Every damn episode is bad arse. Dodd has been the best character IMO. He was great at the cabin. Will be missed.

I think season 2 has passed season 1 as far as which is better. This season has nailed every character whereas last season was carried by the two stars. No matter what story each episode is geared toward, they nail it. Both seasons are great but if I had to pick 2 gets the vote now.

So who saw the Indian turning On Dodd? You could have laid out a dozen scenarios with the Indian showing up at the cabin and the Indian turning on Dodd would have been last.

And I love how Ed now refers to himself as The Butcher of Luverne.

If I were to make to make an alter, I'd be The Butcher Of Luverne.

So did the racism at the bar pushing him to out himself as a killer force the Indian to turn on Dodd? Or is there something we don't know?

I think it was a catalyst, and he was tired of taking shite from everyone. Dodd calling him a "half-wit" probably sent him over the edge.

I liked how they basically jumped an episode ahead, then went back and answered the questions we all had. Plus, it was still a great episode. This way, it kept the action going strong, then with your attention really held and questions forming, go back and show what happened. You could actually have a finished product (script) and then make some basic changes and switch the two episodes to make that work. This is really brilliant on many levels, acting, writing ...

I think it was "half-breed", but yeah I agree that was the final nail in the coffin

Unless I'm missing something, I'm pretty sure the Indian wasn't expecting Dodd to be at the cabin, he was only after the Blomquists and had no way of knowing they had kidnapped Dodd. The way he coldly and reflexively shot Dodd in the head without any thought and then immediately asked about a haircut pretty much told me he just got tired of giving a shite especially to those who put him down.

Any chance that the Indian decided to side with mom and bear? Bear had that convo with him on the porch a few episodes back about being part of the family. Maybe Dodd putting him down proved to him what bear was saying. Probably way off but with this show who knows.

No, he saw the jacket in the basement remember, and they took his car. I thought he knew the whole time that they had him
