Saw it tonight and thought is was pretty good. It is a bit slow at times so I can understand some people not liking it. But if you enjoy dramas it's worth a watch. And Jason Segel was good and it was nice to see him take on a role we haven't seen from him before.

I've been wanting to watch this, but I'm not sure where to find it. I'm just hoping for a little more perspective on DFW even if it does need to be taken with a bit of sodium.

I read Lipsky's book and then read:

The D.T. Max book is better for perspective on Wallace who, not surprisingly, was way less than candid in the interview. Infinite Jest is more autobiographical than I would have guessed . Brilliant book and author but DFW had some serious problems.

I managed to catch it a couple of weeks ago on a brief foray into civilization (yech). I'm a huge DFW/Infinite Jest fan so it was a movie I had to watch. But that said it's hard to see the appeal for 99% of the population. But Jason Segel deserves a nomination for Best Actor for this one. He just nailed it. To the point it almost felt creepy and voyeuristic. Solid movie as well.

And I've got to add that Eisenberg nailed his role too.
