Good questions. Saiyans are like just strong brutes (for the most part) with little brains (ehh used loosely). while fighting they keep their emotions in check usually just focusing on the fight. as evident by Gohan his emotions allow him yo tap into hidden power a normal saiyan would take longer to tap into (although Goku was able to do this successfully on Namek after Krillin died and Vegeta unsuccessfully after Cell killed Trunks (my second favorite scene EVER when Vegeta charges cell)) So to answer the question I'd say no, their emotions just allows them to achieve higher power levels faster than a normal Saiyan.

Yes but pride (which is what a Saiyan is ALL about stops them from doing this. with the exception of Bulma shooting Vegeta with the moon ray gun to shoot him past SSJ3 to SSJ4.

it takes like a year to grow 5 beans or something like that. very very rare.

I'm pretty interested in finding out more about this new "transformation". I think Goku and pure hearted Saiyans will be the only ones capable of achieving this form. Goku is technically a god. He got to keep his body in the afterlife, and train with the higher beings.

As for the questions, hybrid Saiyans are more powerful, and senzu beans can be grown, though it takes a while to grow a single bean. After a Saiyan is severely injured, he/she receives a zenkai. A zenkai is a major power increase unique to the Saiyan race.
