First, I wanted to say that everyone hating on this thread is dumb for doing so. You keep coming back and reading the reviews AND posting about them. Clearly, you are getting some kind of utility from the reviews, or else you wouldn't keep coming back.
STOP feeding the troll, and the troll goes away. I know this is an impossible task to ask of other posters, but it is the solution you seek. If it was ONLY him posting in here, it would go away. I know it is difficult to NOT click on the thread and read his garbage and respond, but bashing him feeds his need to post.
Unrelated, I fully expected to see a 10/10 review for Twilight, but in an epic turn around troll, he bashed the movie and THEN he claimed everyone on the board was defending it.
Great work. Did not see that troll coming. You guys got the bounce it off the other guys head basketball moved, juked, spin moved, freaking mega trolled.
You know what, please keep feeding him, it is actually kind of funny to see you guys get worked up and defend your superior points against someone who clearly does not care and posts what he wants. TulaneLSU = the hhoney badger of the M/TV board.

You're free to post reviews in this thread, but the name is a bit like a sponsorship. What I was hoping from you is a similar thread of your own. The Pectus 2011 movie review thread. I would read it.

I don't feed Tulane much and mostly ignore him, but I could tell this was a pile up, so I had to join in.

I agree with your points, but your conclusion that a thread like this doesn't allow for sharing doesn't follow.
We are on The Arts Board to share our thoughts. As part of The Arts Board, the TulaneLSU movie reviews thread warmly welcomes all thoughts others have about the reviews in the thread. Why not start your own thread for your reviews? There would be great sharing there, probably even more than here, because I have offended the Twilight, Drive, and Pottertards, and am a bit of a pariah as a result. The Pectus movie review thread would be a staple of the board for years to come.

I don't have a problem with you starting your own review thread. Though I do like your idea of having a review thread for the board.
Maybe say for instance each week(or day however you want to work it) a different person writes a review for the thread, a rotating review thread.
I'd be willing to contribute to it.

I honestly just can't believe how everyone keeps reading his reviews. You know it is going to be hot garbage, but you read it anyway and respond. But, he did put a spin on it with the Twilight review. Trashed a horrible movie, then claimed you guys were defending it (don't know if you were). And he managed to inject some religion which always lures posters in.
It was the same with Armond White, always hot garbage, but always had a thread about his review started.

The problem with your entire argument is the thrust of the argument rests on the premise that posters here have "superior points" that, I presume, rebut my reviews. The only poster who has ever engaged me in any sort of intellectual discourse about one of my reviews has been Leauxgan, one of a very few posters here who has or is willing to add something of value. The rest of the responses have been childish insults that make no points about the movie or review. If the posters here watched the movie and took the time and effort to review the movies, they would have a leg on which to stand, but as it stands now, the vast majority of responders are, in the words of modern internet lingo, haters, hating what they don't understand or envy.

alajones review of Faster. Some spoilers lie ahead
I caught this movie 20 minutes in and it intrigued me so much I had to start it over on the In Demand channel. Honestly, this movie was pretty cool. It had some cool car chase scenes. The Rock was in full awesome mode. I really liked the story and loved the B story of the wealthy hit man. Who really became my favorite character and I was really hoping he wouldn’t die. I thought the story was good and with a little better writing could have been right up there with 2 Days in the Valley or The Way of the Gun. I really didn’t expect much because of the über lame title, but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my 1 ½ hours of The Rock driving awesome cars really fast and killing people.
Speaking of killing people, I totally get his motivation, but couldn’t he have waited until they were not at work or in a public place? And Billy Bob? Duh. That’s why we double tap. As soon as he shot Rock in the head I said “metal plate”.

Yea, I never understood it. OMG!!! Armond White said the exact opposite of what any normally functioning human would say about this all time great movie or this all time terrible movie!!!!?!?!?!

See: Skip Bayless threads on the MSB Normally this thread is easy to avoid because it says "TulaneLSU's 2011 movie review thread" in the title. But, I came in here today to see how he praised Twilight and how he said it was better than Harry Potter. Much to my surprise, he didn't.... but, he still trolled everyone.

Honestly not a big fan of Tintin, but thought the film was great. Definite must see during the holidays.
