Isn't that the first time they explained that finger rubbing thing that Phillip does too?

Yep.
Damn, the writing is so fricking tight on this show.

Are they really ripping us (and Reagan)for possibly sabotaging the food supply of a country that starved its own people on purpose?

I suspect it is not the case. My guess us it is a genetically modified wheat that resists pests and they are planning to sell it to the Soviets. I think the Centre is reading it wrong.

Wow, that's interesting. It would have been cutting edge for 1984 but still plausible, though I don't think the Russkies would have trusted it.

I think Stan's new girl is a KGB plant and knows exactly who Philip is.
On an unrelated note, do you get the sense they've completely written Henry out of the show and they view his creation as a mistake? He got less and less screen time. The writers initially used him as friction for Paige (since she knew the family's dark secret and he did not) but now multiple episodes go by and he's not mentioned and doesn't even a cameo/walk-by appearance. Hell, they even got a new Henry because the old one was like, "frick this."

Yeah I think the US is developing ways to help the USSR, but the Russians are either misreading the situation, or don't want its populace to know the motherland is unable to feed them without the capitalist pigs help. Hopefully Phil and Liz realize the truth. I also hope that Vietnamese frick doesn't screw them over somehow.

Henry is the Brady's dog.

I wonder why they don't kill him off. At least send him off to college now that he looks much older.
