Empire Records

This.

For the late 1990s early 2000s teens like myself (high school was 1999 to 2003) I'd say Superbad

Clerks for the same reason. I was in college working at a video store when Clerks hit. Some of the shite Randall said in that movie was perfectly spot on.

"You're not allowed to rent here anymore!!!"

Singles is great movie - loved the riff on the gunge era.

I seriously don't know why anyone could think some movie beats Fast Times at Ridgemont High but to each their own.

1. Fast Times - 80's
2. American Graffiti - 70's
3. Election - 90's
4. Breakfast Club - 80's
5. Ghost World - 00's

80's
Breakfast Club
Ferris Bueller
Sixteen Candles
Heathers
Back to the Future
Say Anything
Risky Business
Pretty in Pink
Dead Poets Society
Lucas
Can't Buy Me Love
War Games
The Outsiders
The Karate Kid
Just One of the Guys
Weird Science
Teen Wolf
Valley Girl
Footloose
Vision Quest
Fright Night
Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter is Dead

1990's
Can't Hardly Wait
Scream
Cruel Intentions
Jawbreaker

2000's
Ghost World
The Girl Next Door
