Haven't seen either but I've heard numerous times:
The first was revolutionary. The second was evolutionary

Just watched this last night.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing you find out is that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Everybody, despite 20 years to improve their lot in life, is still the person you would think they'd be.
Sick-boy and Rent-boy go after each other about the baby and Tommy. It was a good scene, but they could have done a bit more.
Begbie. What a count.
Spud is still just a lost little puppy. His story about why he lost his job/wife/kid is great.
If you liked the first, you can't help but like the sequel.

just rewatched the first then T2 afterwards.
Satisfying is how i would describe it. equally entertaining and reasonable conclusion to a story after a 20 year hiatus.
and yes, begby is still a doss cvnt

Huge fan of the original and enjoyed the sequel. Thought it was very well done, and my expectations were high since I thought the trailer looked so good
