I think when Spencer stood up with an idol, Tony got a bit ticked that he wasn't the only one who had one and pulled it out out of pride and then quickly realized he made a dumb move and tried to say "oh I tricked you into not giving it to Jeremiah hardy har, this isn't real"

Every episode it seems there's a moment where you say "Tony is pretty clever" and "Tony you are a fricking idiot!"

I think he's better off if he just shows everyone he has it. It pretty much guarantees you coast the final four or five because no one is going to waste a vote on you.

I think there is no way you show it. If you show it, then people may not vote for you as the winner because you got lucky finding this super idol. If you don't show it two scenarios happen:

1. You get voted out, then use it.
2. You don't get voted out. Then you bring it out during the final tribal counsel to show how much of a badass that you are that you didn't need to use it.

Yeah, but he can always come back that he found it without a clue.

Yul had the idol in Cook Islands and used it to influence his alliance members. And he won.

I'm curious to know how late the idol can be used. If you can't use it at the Final 4 TC, then he's doing himself a disservice if he hasn't played it or used it to dissuade people from voting against him.

Is it just a known thing with the cast that any hidden immunity idol is not usable for the final 4, or is it always written on the note? I'm just wondering because Tony never mentioned anything like that while reading it.

This season should also serve notice for all future contestants that they shouldn't act like finding a normal hidden idol in the first five days is some crazy game changer. Tony, JL, and Spencer all played their idols when they could have saved them.

Not even sure honestly...I read an interview after one of the seasons where one of the castaways said production tells them before the game starts what the last day is an idol can be played.

I thought I had read somewhere else that the "special" idol was going to be able to be played later, but I don't remember. I could be wrong.

Spencer had to play his idol last night. My wife was up in arms saying "Why didn't he give it to Jeremiah?". The problem is they probably had no clue who they were voting for, so Spencer had to play to ensure three more days out there. And how many people have we seen voted out with idols? Plenty!

I really don't care for Tony finding the idol. I also don't care for how easily they are found. I will never understand why people do not look for odd shaped trees or other "landmarks", if you will, and start looking for idols the second they get on the island. Just baffles me.

they're all afraid the others might get mad at them... hell the big breasted girl this season gave up looking because the others showed up at the beginning of the game.

True, plus they really don't show people looking, unless they find it. One of the reasons I knew Tony would find it last night.

Also, one of the reasons Big Brother is a far better show, 3 hour long shows a week plus people who watch and recap the live feeds 24 hours a day. With Survivor, you cover 3 days on the island with a 1 hour show, with a majority of the time being taken up by reward/immunity challenge and tribal council.

If I were Spencer, Tasha and Jeremiah, when Jefra said "I'm going to vote with them tonight," I would've made her prove that she was flipping by telling the minority group the vote. If she won't, you know where she stands.

If she does, Spencer plays the idol for Jeremiah and Woo is blindsided. That should've been the way the minority group played it. Otherwise what happened was inevitable.

If I were Spencer, I'd have said "Hey Jerimiah, want to play a game of hot potato?" I'd then pass the idol back and forth multiple times look at the tribe and say guess which one is getting it then give it to Jerimiah with them assuming I'd be selfish and use it on myself. I really hate the season. So many unlikable players. I only like Spencer, Woo, and Jefra.

Good to see Jefra go.

Maybe the alliance of Woo, Tony, Spencer, and Trish will be the final four.

God I loved seeing Kass's smug face pre/post-vote

And hopefully Tony gets to mindfrick her again next week

I hope the special idol comes into play at some point. Tony is sitting pretty with these two idols.

false

she was a babe

Hoping Tony can make it and he is basically guaranteed in the top 4...if they try to blindside him next ep he'll use special idol...then will know to use the regular idol the next time

I wasn't a big fan of Tony for a while, but as it goes on I think he is hilarious. I hate Kass 10x more than anyone. Still pulling for Spence though, he has played a hell of a game. Sad to see Jefra's fine self go, and Morgan looked fine when she was laughing at the results

Tony May have won himself $1,000.000.00 tonight.

6 left people left - he has 2 idols , & has had a hand in almost all jury going home.

Not a Tony fan but damn.
