Who goes? They are going to bid on an immunity idol so I do not think Russell gets this one because the Galu will pull together for it...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Shambo gets the boot tonight though

how does one watch the league and survivor? and i don't mean logistically, i mean taste-wise?

ha I had never watched it until this season...kind of intriguing

I've never understood some people's dislike for survivor. Out of all of the reality based shows it is easily the best. You can say that doesn't mean much but as most are crap so I will say Survivor is better than all those damn bland Law And Forensic clones that they show 30 hours of each week.
I love it. Even if one season falters, the next season can be gold since it is new contestants each season.

I think the Foa Foa dismantling of Galu continues tonight. I think Monica or Dave goes tonight, although I think getting rid of John or the other guy would be smarter. Dave is a moron and Monica does nothing.

I seem to recall the add making it look like people might be turning on someone but I think that is all smoke and mirrors. Galu takes another hit tonight. Probably John.

If the episodes followed the ads, Russel would be gone and last week's episode would have been "An All New Survivor". Disclaimer: I knew the Thanksgiving episode was just going to be a recap/deleted scenes episode, but they didn't really advertise it as such.

I look for Dave to be gone next and Monica is one of the worst players all time in Survivor history.
Monica is the type play one would love to take to the end, few would vote for her, but because foa foa is so low on numbers they can not take a chance and will clean all the ex Galu.
So the final 4 is very likely to be all foa foa, hexx even Shambo would likely draw all the ex Galu votes over anyone off foa foa.

They blatantly lied on the commercial after the last boot. They said next week on an all new survivor then they showed clips from tonights episode.
Later in the week, the commercial showed the clip crap episode, but the one right after the boot was a full blown lie.

Preview showed that Russel reveals his wealth to someone, Mick I think. Dumb move, IMO. No way I'd keep someone who makes 4.8 million a year.

That was the preview for the Thanksgiving episode. He told Mick earlier in the season, they just didn't show it. It's not like Mick can use it as an anethesiologist(sp).

Ah, don't know why I thought 4.8... and thanks for clearing that up. I still have the Thanksgiving episode on DVR. That makes tonight's episode less interesting. Didn't know he already spilled the beans.

I have figured out Russell's problem. He needs adoration, so he needs to tell people when he gets the idol.
At least he realized it was a mistake when he did it.
He is smart the way he went about getting John voted out by asking who would be best to leave, instead of tossing it out himself.
Shanbo may turn, but I think there is a difference in what happened between the way Galu treated her and the way Foa Foa treated her.
Yes, they kept her out of the loop but they haven't treated her like shite like Galu did.
Russell simply needs to explain to her that he was worried that she would not want to vote John off and that then she could have become the target. So he was watching her back to make sure she didn't put herself in that position. I think she would buy that simply because Russell has been one of the only people to pretend to be nice to her.
It amazes me how lame all of the contestants are this season. I know it could be editing, but nobody wants to do any scheming on their own. Maybe John. Without Russell this may have been the most boring season of Survivor and not even close.
