Will is such a terrible player. He's worthless in challenges, has no clue about strategy, and is completely stupid and unlikeable yet somehow seems to still have an ego. He's the perfect person to take to the end.

That was genius of Mike to do what he did. Getting two people to vote for Dan was huge.

Dan is a moron. I can't believe he is setting himself up to lose like this.

The idiots were clapping as Shirin was leaving tribal council. It is like they don't even understand what Mike really did.

He had two plays he could have called. His second choice would have been to just go to tribal and not say a word. Let all of them got for Shirin, his and Shirin vote for who they wanted out then pull the idol for Shirin at the end.

Nah the play would have been to sit down with Shirin before tribal and tell her he was going to give her the idol but not play it. Give it to her before tribal and have her wearing it around her neck when they get to tribal. That play was all about them believing he would actually play the idol and without giving it to Shirin not enough of them fell for it.

He got them to vote Dan so that worked, but he could have gotten one of them out and still had Shirin and his idol if they actually believed Shirin was playing an idol.

They are totally underestimating Mike's intelligence of how he's playing the game.

If he has given it to Shirin and played it, they would still be down in the numbers and he would just get voted out next time if he doesn't win immunity. By not playing it, he's guaranteed himself at least three more days even if he doesn't win immunity, plus he's caused a divide in the other alliance.

The main group is all so weak. Tyler, the albino Brooke Shields, old lady, etc. I still don't understand how Mike just allowed himself to go from their leader to outcast last episode. Even after the outburst and freak out over letters from home he could have still stayed not only in the main group but as the leader. But he just decided to pout and join the two weak outcasts.

great move by mike. I didn't get it at first. I thought sure the play was going to be give shirin the idol and vote one of the 6 out. but, not playing it keeps him safe for at least one more tribal. And it's going to shake the hell out of the alliance.

personally i would have loved to have seen him play the idol for shirin and vote Rodney out. But , this move will make things interesting.

Immunity Challege preview

So it looks like Rodney's going to be spending the entire episode bitching about his birthday. For a couple of weeks now i have had him second to Mike as far as likelihood of winning, but between this and his mocking of Shirin as she got her torch snuffed, i think we are starting to see more of the douchiness that we were seeing earlier in the season. I really think it's between Tyler and Mike at this point.

So, with Mike having his idol we know it won't be him tonight (barring an epic frickup on Mike's end). Probably going to be Dan, Sierra, or Tyler.

Lastly, here is a tweet sent out by Jeff last night.

quote:

#survivor We're making a very big and very fun announcement at the end of tomorrow's episode. I hope you dig it! Should be a lot of fun!

This is referring to the fact that they will be revealing the voting pool for the season 31 contestants. They cut the list that i posted earlier in the thread from 40 to about 30 or so. It will be interesting to see who is on the list and if the entire list is up for the vote or if production will chose a certain number that they want.

That plan takes the risk of Shirin actually playing the idol. Once you put it in her hands, you are no longer in control. I thought his play was a great move, and Shirin jumped up a few notches in my book when she commended him for not playing it in her final interview.

I am looking forward to Dan acting like a baby tonight. The way he annunciates every word is really getting old. It'll be interesting to see if he still does it when he doesn't have all that confidence.

Holy shite Dan. How gullible can you be. Only two people deserve to win. Mike and mama c. How Rodney has gotten this far on a social game blows my fricking mind

I agree ark, you know its not like you really accomplished something in life because its your birthday! You were BORN! Everyday is 1/365th people on earths birthday. You did nothing special. The great GW Bush taught me that, really a downer actually.

Those season 1 people are starting to age. Hard to believe it has been 15 years.

I'm so tired of rodney's mouth. although i guess tyler was playing a better game, i wish they had used this opportunity to get rodney out. But, they will blindly follow the bully.
