Big day for the DCEU, can they finally get a "fresh" film that doesn't have Chris Nolan attached to it. Embargo is up at 9am PST. I personally think it'll finish with something similar to MOS, 50-55% RT score.

I dunno - i think it will be in the 70 to 75% range - but then again, I don't really pay too much attention to the % or critic reviews.

if it looks good an interests me, and this one does, I am there to see it.

This one has been all over the place. Early stuff looked great, but I haven't liked the latest trailers or information. I hope it's awesome and generally have liked Ayers' work.

And what they’ve given us is a formulaic, blood and bullet-riddled David Ayer (“Training Day/Fury”) superhero thriller starring a high-mileage Will Smith and Margot Robbie’s butt-cheeks.

I mean, sounds pretty decent to me

i am thinking mid 60's. I will be paying special attention to what jon schnepp thinks. he is usually pretty spot on when it comes to comic book movies.

i will be pretty heartbroken if this movie sucks.

That review is pretty damning for this movie. One thing I kept hearing from others when talking about this movie was how it reminded them of Guardians. Granted that was always in a positive tone, as they enjoyed that movie. But this review makes me worry that this movie just cherry picks from other movies to try and make something profitable.

I will likely see this the following Friday so I can get a sense of how audiences react. Still very likely to see it regardless.

How weird will it be if the most non-Marvel superhero movie this year could be a Marvel movie (Dr. Strange).

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of "meh" from the screenings the past 2 days. Disappointing, I thought we'd get something better since Zach Snyder didn't direct this one.

Margot Robbie's character seems annoying as hell.

he didn't seem to give BvS a pass so I think he's being honest.

He went from self loathing funny man to HEY GUYS ITS WACKY KEVEIN SMITH BANG BOOM POW POW COMICS ZANY!!

As with all movies I eagerly anticipate seeing, I couldn't give a fat turd what critics/RT thinks. I'm ready to see this this weekend.

Completely agree. I do believe he had a solid film, as a matter of fact there's bloggers out there that got to attend test screening and enjoyed the film. They now say the films been changed quite a bit, and not for the better.
