Man, looking through this thread makes me realize how good of a year 2014 was for movies. Nightcrawler, Whiplash, Dawn of the Apes, American Sniper, GotG, Gone Girl, interstellar, John wick, imitation game, edge of tomorrow, winter soldier, it follows, Lego movie, big hero 6, equalizer. I'm sure I'm missing some.

I remember really liking the first 300 trailer. The use of Nine Inch Nails was spot on.
Loved the movie. Too bad Snyder's other efforts were let downs (though I did enjoy Watchmen)
