Stevie's kids cuss him out and call him a pussy and a dick licker and he responds right back calling them dick lickers. plus when he shaved his head and had those wigs; brilliant.

I do love some Ron Swanson but come on there are plenty of Ron Swansons out there; Stevie is a rare bird that I don't think exists

I prefer Ron Swanson, although in Stevie's defense Nick Offerman is just being himself when he portrays Ron Swanson.

I don't know much about Steve Little, but it's got to take some commitment to dive into a role like Stevie . The shite they make this poor bastard do portraying him takes a pretty brave actor.

This last week's episode where his kids were calling him a dick sucker in the grocery store was great...

He makes the show what it is. Without Stevie it'd be crap. I love his character.

You can't compare Stevie to Ron Swanson, it's an unfair fight. Let's say Stevie is the best sidekick character ever written and performed..

How bout that?

I'm kind of surprised with the responses here. I can't stand Stevie.

The other night, Stevie made me laugh really hard and I thought to myself, "Stevie is one of the best characters in TV." Then I thought, "Well he probably doesn't have Ron Swanson beat though."

They are both up there for me.

The fact that I thought the same exact thing without ever seeing this thread is pretty telling.

yea after watching this last Eastbound, my wife and I both look at each other and asked "who is better than Stevie" - he's so odd and lovable at the same time; I like his transformation early on from just being a nerdy band teacher to cussing people out and being a "hard arse"
and when he and his wife are watching a porn and he says whatever they do next we have to do and it's a girl strapping on and doing the dude - and then they replicate it - hahaha

He was the most annoying character for me, in any TV show.

But I have finally seen what he brings to the show.

When he screamed "that's my n****r" during the taping of "sports sesh" i lost it ontop of laughing hysterically.

I find him uncomfortable to watch, but yet, I can't stop watching him. Thats' why his character is great.
