I don't know why TPM gets so much hate. AOTC is by far the worst Star Wars movie. Worst SFX of the saga as well when it comes to blue screen.

Compared to Attack of the Clones, The Phantom Menance is very good. It has arguably the best lightsaber duel of the prequel trilogy, lacks the god awful romance sub-plot, and actual has dialogue that at least somewhat resembles how real people actually speak.

My main beef was how they tried so hard to shoehorn Anakin's "piloting skill" with the podrace scene followed by the "YIPEEE!" scene after he blows up the trade federation battleship. They totally neglect this in Attack of the Clones and then during Episode 3, they're like, "Oh yeah, we gotta show everyone what a good pilot Anakin is" when he uses the side of his fighter to scrape off the vulture droids from Obi-Wan's ship.

The biggest problem with Episode 1 was that it's just too far removed from Episodes 2 and 3. Episode 1 should've been the start of the clone wars.

Episode 1: Attack of the Clones
Episode 2: Revenge of the Sith
Episode 3: The Force Unleashed

Seriously the Force Unleashed as a movie would be pretty badass.

Watch 4, 5, 6 on a big TV with loud sound.

Take 1, 2, 3 and put them in the dumpster

Revenge is not a bad movie by any means. It's on par with ROTJ.

I really don't get why people don't just go with the release order. There are multiple glaring contradictions in the prequels anyway. Though i think the best course is SW, ESB,ROTJ and then just watch the Plinkett reviews of the prequels.

Machete order. Google it.

Basically it goes 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6. After Empire 1,2,&3 act as a flashback of sorts and you see how Vader came to exist right after the revelation that he is actually Anakin, then it ends with 6 and you get a conclusion to the story.

They sounds so stupid.

You finish watching one of the greatest movies of all time then immediately suffer through the prequels before coming back to the Original Trilogy ending?

Just watch them 456123456

The way they talk about the past in the Original Trilogy is greatly contradicted by the prequels. IMO that would make watching them after Empire confusing.

How about 4,5,

Then an hour long mashup of: pod race, sea monsters, Darth Maul fight, Yoda says no, Mace death, Youngling slaughter, final Obi-Wan battle, then 6.

That could be ok.
