I'd say it's a spoiler since the character wasn't recast and was killed off on the show. At the very least respect that the OP put in the title spoilers only through the 1st half of season 1.

alright, I was wrong. I thought it was about another show where the actor died last year, and they just got to his death last night.

It's Glee, who cares?
A bunch of kids sing together with the hopes of making the nationals. The plot is the same every week. Nothing to spoil.
Gay kids are fabulous. Outcasts are terrific. Lets sing.
However, since the show is so tremendously boring, the death of a character would be such an overwhelming change in style as to be the absolute biggest spoiler to date.
