This boards hate for the Sandman is beyond ridiculous. That's My Boy was legit funny, Just Go With It was great minus Nick Swardson, Bedtime Story was a great kids comedy.

what about click

It had funny parts in the beginning, but I hate how it got so freaking serious and sad. Like I was pretty much crying, and I don't like when a movie unexpectedly makes me depressed.

Eck, terrible. The tits on the head were the only somewhat memorable part.

I liked Click, and 50 First Dates. Funny People was good, although I don't consider it a Sandler comedy.

I liked Just Go With It. I mean, come on man...

Funny People sucked. Wasn't funny at all, had no heart, and was just all around terrible. That movie had two redeeming qualities: Aziz as Randy and Aubrey Plaza

No, it was shitty. It was a typical example of the newer Sandler films. Cast himself as a rich, successful guy. Cast a hot girl/girls as the love interest. Cast his friends in the supporting roles. Spend 30 min on the script. Cash check. Repeat.

He's making bank so more power to him, but I think people see that he's capable of more and it pisses them off. He's become the white Tyler Perry.

Click was great. I liked Just Go With It and That's My Boy wasn't awful. Everything else made since 2007 was though.

Once his age catches up to him and he starts taking on roles of older characters he will become the reigning quintessential jewish elder of hollywood.

Nope.

And we could have asked this question about 10 years ago, my answer would still have been the same, and I would still be right.

He's pumping out hot shite and raking in the money. Whoever called him the white Tyler Perry was spot on.

His next movie looks like a Couples Retreat for Sandler fans.

If you were in your 30s when Billy Madison came out you probably would think it was stupid too. Sandler hasn't changed much but the audience has grown up. He still makes tons of money so its obvious many people still love it. They just aren't very public about it.

I loved Sandler movies when I was 11, 12, 13 but now that I'm in my 20's I look back and don't find any of them to be particularly funny any more.

At 10 I though The Waterboy was a comedic masterpiece. It wasn't.

Sandler has his niche and its not providing comedy to adults.
