I use my spectrum tv app at the camp & other places when mobile via the iOS app. All of a sudden each of them took a dump this morning and are telling me to connect to my home wifi for full access.

Anyone else have this going on today? Second time in a month this company has jacked with my football viewing plans

why haven't you dropped them yet?

I had spectrum for a few years after I moved to my current location. Thursday night opener of CFB (florida vs utah) and boom screen goes black. By lunchtime the next day I returned my equipment and got youtube tv and I'm kicking myself I waited as long as I did.

They likely updated their settings on location detection, and it wants you to connect to your home network to verify that your iOS devices are actually in the same household as your billing address.

Hulu on iOS also shite the bed when I tried to listen to the LSU game yesterday while at my kid's game.

I'd suggest turning off automatic application updates in iOS. This way, when you see that Spectrum wants to update it's app, you can make sure you do it at home, and then open the app to make sure it still works. Fewer nasty surprises that way.
