just not sure what purpose that served

I think it goes back to everything that put Juice on his path to destruction... His entire downfall began with him thinking the club would destroy him for being half black.

I think in a way, Jax was trying to right a wrong by bringing black into the club. Juice ultimately had to die for his actions, but if not for the misconception that they were a "Pro White" club, none of the bullshite would have ever taken place.

That was after Alvarez tried to assassinate Clay. The least he could do for trying to knock off the president of the mother charter. Edit: It was also a business decision so SAMCRO would start selling arms to the Mayans.

And you don't think it would increase the Grim Bastards income to be a part of SOA? That's a business decision also

The GB are way too small for that.

I don't understand, You said that Marcus allowed his son to be killed bc it was a good business decision for his club bc it allowed them to get some of the gun business

I'm saying it would also be good for the GB financially to join SOA so that is also a business decision

How's one charter with maybe a dozen members going to regularly buy fully automatic weapons in bulk?

I didn't necessarily mean make money through the gun business, what i mean is that the show makes it clear its in the GB's best interest to join SOA. Their best interest is presumably money which is the same interest Marcus had when he allowed his son to be killed to get the gun business.
There's little doubt the GBs benifit financially from joining SOA just like the Mayans benifit financially from getting the gun business

as flawed as the show has become, there's still something about it that I love. I'm gonna definitely miss the show.

Very late to the show (only watched Season 7), but my take echoes this sentiment. Totally ridiculous scenarios throughout & so over the top, but still enjoyed it with all of its warts and all. Looking forward to viewing it from the start. Okay brother.

So I finally got around to watching the finale and thought that it ended the way it should be. Jax riding head onto into an 18-wheeler with his arms spread like Rose from the Titanic was a little cheesy, but you knew it was coming. But how he blasted August at the courthouse was pretty great.

I thought Chibbs could've been less of an emotional wreck. he was always one of my favorite characters.

I like how Chibbs essentially threatened to kill his booty call if she crossed the club and then no repercussions came of it for either party
