Partly. The Donal Logue "retired" US Marshal character was terrible. As if a out-of-state rogue druggie ex-marshal would have any pull in that prison or any form of external investigation in the area. Glad he is done. Some shite has to be looked past but c'mon.

Not uncommon to see flip phones being used as burn phones. It is becoming less common though.

How much pull would the IRA actually have in the US? How many Irish nationals are in Northern California? It can't be that many. I just don't see how they could keep getting that many strangers in that small of a community..

I don't think the IRA does much of anything anymore now that a, somewhat, peace arrangement has been made with the Brits.

The IRA is still just as powerful and dynamic as it ever was in the past. They do most of their work through Sinn Fein these days but they are far far from being defanged as the brits are aware.
