But can't get in the mood to watch it. Somebody tell me how good it is so I'll watch it.

If you don't watch it, you will be stalked and killed by Shia Labeouf.

I redboxed it last night but didn't watch it and when I woke up this morning I discovered that my wife left me and I wet the bed.

Watch it.

I rented it. It sat on the counter for 3 days. On the 4th day Labeouf showed up at my house and danced with my daughter. Then we watched it together and I had to pay a late fee.

You should probably have a doctor look at that.

Good movie.

But final scene is as preposterous as can be. It's cartoon-like in its stupidity and outlandishness.

Hell Yea, It's 100% better than advertised. The only petty technical issue I have with it was A.) German tanks fired from a stationary position and B.) Panzerfaust RPG's didn't ricochet.

They got the optics right on European scopes for once and I did see a scene taken from a 70's movie "cross of iron" used (wont ruin it).

By far the best movie I have seen with Brad Pitt since river runs through.

What's stupid and outlandish about it? Tank veterans have said it was realistic.

Really awful. More historically accurate would have been an SS tank crew doing that to Americans.

Watch it. You'll find the secret as to how easy it was for a GI to get laid in the ETO in 1945. Hint: the state of Pennsylvania played a big role.

I don't doubt the representation of the tanks and their crews were realistic. It looked and felt very realistic. More so than any tank movie I've ever seen. But the final scene?

100-200 battle-hardened SS troops are going to take several hours to attack a single disabled U.S. tank. And they do it by repeatedly walking/running upright in front of the stationary tank's guns. In the final month of the war, experienced German troops didn't know how to handle a single, crippled U.S. tank? Not realistic at all.

And the American tank crew, with several minutes to prepare for the suicide fight, forgets to bring into the tank extra ammo stored on the exterior of the tank, forcing them to leave the safety of the tank during the battle. Battle-hardened, experienced tank crew with a top-notch commander, and they make this stupid blunder? Not realistic.

And when all is done, with 100+ of his comrades laying dead, an SS officer will allow one of the American tankers to live and escape capture by simply turning and walking away. No.

B movie silliness and stupidity. Like the ScyFy channel. I just shook my head as I left the theater.

Of course the Fury tank was A.)
M4A2E4 - Upgraded with Torsion Bar suspension; never put into production and that's why it smoked.
