I wasn't really that interested in the concept of the show, and was meh about it. I figured I'd watch one episode just to say I tried it.
6 episodes later at 1 a.m., I finally went to bed. Does it keep getting better?

Gets a LOT better. Getting through the first 4 were the toughest for me, but once you have a good overview of the show, you'll get sucked into the plot and everyone's drama. Soon enough you'll begin to hate every single woman on the show

Yea. Seasons 1&2 only set up what happens in 3&4. I just finished season 5 and it looks to be setting some of the characters up for an epic downfall.

I've said this before but it's not a show that will keep you on the edge of your seat with action and crazy scenes. It's about character development and gaining attachment to them and appreciating how society was in that time period. At least that's how I look at it.

This. And that is also why the show doesn't get as much love on here. The show continues to get better and better as time goes on.

How I was. Watched first few probably a year ago and hated it, gave it another chance last month and I'm now alreay into season 4. Great show.

Betty is a hateful bitch but Peggy is no less sympathetic than any character on the show. I love her character.

The show bores me to sleep, honestly. I tried and tried but I just can't seem to give a shite about the characters. I made it to season 2, episode 3 or so.
