So did anybody catch the new Xfiles last night?

Thought it was decent. Could tell the screenwriter was a huge hollywood liberal with all the references to right-wingers, George W. Bush, evil oil companies, etc.

There was also a scene of swift dialouge between Mulder and Scully that didn't seem natural. They were reciting their lines / going through the motions, not acting.

It was pretty much an anti-government prepper-type rant. More libertarian than anything. Some people hear or see George W Bush placed in ANY kind of negative context and automatically think that whomever they're talking to or whatever they're watching is liberal. It's not. The kind of people who have a bunker full of .22 LR hidden away for the apocalypse and think the government is out to put people in FEMA camps are NOT liberals.

I liked it. I didn't really read any left wing propaganda from it, and I'm not exactly insensitive to things like that.

I can't believe "he" is still alive, though. That seemed unrealistic.

I would have been more shocked GD he not been in it. Especially after about a week ago when I checked and confirmed the actor was still alive.
