I watched this last night after I watched the Cinemassacre review of the movie the other day.
I don't know whether to LOL or be deeply disturbed by the ending.
Also listening to the How Did This Get Made podcast episode about it and its funny as hell.
Can anyone here say they legit called the ending to this movie?

Definitely falls into the so bad its good category IMO.

You can definitely see that Wet Hot American Summer borrowed heavily from the movie. And I'd never heard of it until the HDTGM podcast.

I was 15 when I first saw SC and it legit blew my mind. I thought it was just a regular old 80s slasher and all the sudden...

It really made me laugh when Paul Scheer said that Ken Marino told him he based his character in Wet Hot off of this guy from Sleepaway Camp

I love the second one much more than the first. Probably watched it 100 times. just campy and fun. the third was ok with some funny kills but not as good as part 2. Regarding part one, i wasn't expecting the ending. But I had the killer pegged. :)

I met Felissa Rose (Angela) at Atrox Factory in Birmingham last year. I told her she was still hot and was the best thing about the movie, which was one of my favorites. Right after, a buddy of mine asked me if Sleepaway was that good and said 'never saw it'.

The HDTGM on SC is one of my favorite. I've never seen the others but Bruce Springsteens sister plays Angela in the later movies.
