I watched it last night. Thought the first 2/3rd was great. Didn't really care for the ending. SPOILER: It was weird how it was basically Emily Blunts story, but then in the end del Toro was the one that handled business.

I loved the sound and score.

It's a crime Del Toro has been getting overlooked by all the award people.

Yep. Will probably end up with right at 50 mil domestically, and should be close to 40 mil internationally once it finishes in all countries. Not bad for a movie that really kept its marketing expenses low, and depended on word of mouth and reviews to get people in seats.

Could also see a bump if it gets nominated for anything in the Oscars.

Yeah, in the end, Emily Blunt was pretty damn useless. But Del Tori ended up being Sicario. Strange that it got limited exposure, but good to see reviews are positive.

Excellent movie. One of my favorites from the year. Pretty disappointed it's not getting more awards love so that it could reach a wider audience. Blunt's performance specifically should be getting her more recognition.

I loved the fact that at the end of the day the Colombian cartels are a force to be reckoned with and even the "badass" Mexican cartels are still scared of them even after all of these years.

The movie opened my eyes to a world most people in the world don't want to know about.

Just watched it was well. Badass movie

Loved the intensity throughout and didn't have to show much gory cartel violence to get the point across. Benicio

Just finished… Holy shite, you are all correct though, it completely becomes Del Toro's movie by the end. Everything that bastard does is awesome.

Emily Blunt represented the average American viewer... How things were waaaaaaaay worse than intended... she wanted to go by the book but HAD TO KNOW the depths of the situation... and in the end - She had a choice whether to maintain her humanity or not.

Not useless at all.
