Killing time, was surfing around and out of the blue thought about The Shannara Chronicles, which I only made about halfway through . Went to check the wiki on it and the second season started just last week.

Anyone that was a fan of the books that also liked the show? I liked it okay but was too...something.

Wait...whats the odd coincidence? that you thought about a show? Dont make threads about everything that pops into your head.

I only made it through the first 3 or 4 episodes myself. I didn't stop because I thought it was horrible or anything, I guess it just didn't grab enough to keep me watching. I was meaning to pick it back up, but never got around to it. Since I never hear anyone ever mention it, I'm wondering if it is even worth picking back up though.

I thought the first season was ok, but I also loved the books.

I'll prolly binge the new season

In case it wasn't clear, that I randomly thought about the show for the first time in a year and a half and it just so happened that the second season just started a week ago.

It's about the show. The coincidence part was just lagniappe.

You're kinda special eh?

Same thing here. It definitely has that mtv production vibe to it, which is odd to say about a swords and sorcery show, but can't find any other way to explain it.

First season was ok. I liked the one with the hippy cult leader who had the sweet harem because he knew how to produce and use electricity.

The hs episode was weird and felt completely out of place.

I’ll probably binge season 2 when it hits Netflix.
