Just started watching this show. Was anyone as lost as I am or am I just kind of dumb? It seems like good TV but I really hope they explain what the hell is going on. The opening scene is confusing as frick.

I kept waiting and waiting for them to learn how to harness their powers but I gave up. The show really dragged.

I think I'm giving up on this show. Made it to 4 episodes and I can't take it anymore.

Made it to episode 8 and like everyone else has said it's confusing and slow.

The show has potential but it was a bit all over the place. The whole LGBT thing is pretty heavy handed since one of the brothers decided to Caitlin Jenner before it was cool to be Caitlin Jenner.

It actually does eventually all come together. But the problem is that it takes almost to the end of the season for everything to connect. But the last episode is really good.

And yeah, the LGBT crap is way too much.

This show takes a remarkable chance by never taking the camera off of the core characters. The audience literally figures things out as the characters do with no going to the antagonist so that the audience knows more than the core characters. It's a risk, gambling on the patience and intelligence of the audience but I feel it's paid off by the end.

wow, i'm surprised at all the hate in here. I loved it, thought it was great. the LBGT was a bit much like has been said but once I got past that I thought it was one of the better shows that exist right now

I actually got bored and finished it and I'm glad I did. I thought the ending was really good. There are two bad things about this show to me. That's the LGBT agenda that gets shoved down our throats (phrasing?) and a couple of the characters are almost unbearable.

In the long run though I enjoyed the direction the story takes the viewer. It wrapped up very nicely. I am kind of curious what would happen in a season 2 if they do one.

They are doing another one. Supposedly Rajan (Kala's fiance) will be one of the bad guys next season.

The theory is that he either does work for, or will work for BPO. Also that he finds out about Kala & Wolfgang, and isn't very pleased about it.

Yeah good point. Guess we are kind of getting into predictions but it could have to do with the pharmaceutical company he now owns. Didn't think about that until you brought it up. Damn now I'm kind of looking forward to another season.

I watched the whole thing, and I loved it.

It really delivered on the character development. The plot/scifi elements are pretty slow, but they do eventually pay off. Really, though, it's a well developed character study of 8 different characters, not a fast paced sci fi thriller or anything of that nature. There are moments that are really tender and deliver in big ways, imo.

I, personally, loved the different cultural and gender issues that were at play within the story and thought it did a great job of exploring issues that other works avoid.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to a second season.

I almost did the same thing. But I'm glad I stuck with it. The last three episodes are really good.

That's actually speculation based on an interview with the actor when asked what he'd like to see. At that point he didn't even know if he'd be in the second season.

At the moment, several of the actors are in Berlin to shoot some footage that was needed during the holiday season. It's not the start of primary photography yet, though, which is possibly being scheduled to begin in March.
