It's on tv multiple times a day on 4 different channels. Not enough for you?

Exactly. Friends, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond and Big Bang Theory are on constantly so why would you need to stream them unless there was specific episode you wanted to see.

For a while, my family was buying me seasons on Seinfeld in DVD for Christmas before i told them to stop since I haven't even opened any of them. Same thing with my wife and Friends. Complete waste of money.

But then you have to switch the input, pick out the disk, get up and put it in. Way too much effort.

answered. also sometimes the syndicated versions are cut slightly and then there is the commercials and do they run them in order? Not as important on a sitcom i realize, but i might want to watch a season in order or something.

Aren't they also slightly sped up for syndication? Not that it makes a huge difference.

Syndicated episodes are sped up and edited. Some episodes aren't in syndication.
