Just finished the most recent in Cornwells saga. Not only can this man write, he is fast as hell. Found it interesting he is a descendant of the family that ruled Bebbanburg and used the name Uthred. Great addition and hope others continue to find it. Looking forward to Season 2 of the show.

I'm halfway through the book. My favorite series of all time and Uhtred is my favorite book character. The show was very well done although the casting for Uhtred is a little off. Now that Netflix has it maybe it'll be even better. Each season is supposed to cover two books I believe, so I'm really looking forward to this season since Lords of the North is my favorite.

It's weird because I can't really think of a favorite of least favorite. Every book has me on the edge of my seat and wanting more.
The actor is too clean to be Uthred, but I feel he is beginning to catch his temperament. It's not perfect, but not awful either.

Yeah I agree the actor is starting to get the temperament which is more important anyway. But Uhtred is supposed to be tall and blond, like a Chris Hemsworth type.
