Apparently the Ghostbusters reboot has started a trend. Let's remake a remake that is only 14 years old.

Sorry Gary Ross. You're not breaking any ground. Already been done, bitch.

Seriously, I was expecting this link to be the Onion or something. It makes no fricking sense.

Won't count if it's all gay dudes. Has to be the cast from Expendables.

after reading the article it doesn't sound like a remake

it sounds like its just a heist film that will be in the Ocean's universe

You'll all jump on the bandwagon when they announce the all female cast of the remake of 300.

The next trend will be to remake all films with transgendered casts, why should those who identify with the gender they were born with have a monopoly on films.

Will they all be wearing the same outfits as the guys in 300?

Depending on casting, I could support that.

If it is just in the universe with the other films. I'm fine with it. Especially if it has the same vibe, and they have a certain few guys reprise their roles in a small way.

I can see it now. Casey Affleck and Scott Caan come back to play their characters, this time as underworld heist "gurus".

But really I mean Pitt and Clooney. Paying them for a spot isn't a huge deal if they are busting out Bullock money.

The cast is the biggest deal. The Oceans movies were fantastic, and funny, but not because they hired actors who tended to be comedians. For the most part they hired guys who were all around strong actors, and could handle almost any role type.

They cannot hire the type of actors/actresses they normally seem to hire around Bullock, comedic side kicks. This needs to be a strong cast. From top to bottom. Get some ladies from TV who have strong small screen acting chops for the smaller roles if money does end up being an issue. Don't cheap out on some lower tier comedic actresses who shouldn't be within 100 miles of this franchise.
