So they need people to go to an Ice Cream shop and that's it. They should put the show on Syfy it would be better than anything they currently have.

Truth. Revolution would have done well on syfy.
I enjoyed this show and will miss the Miles-Monroe bromance.

The definitely weren't planning on cancellation with that finale. The series started out fairly meh, got pretty good, then returned to more meh this season.

I agree with all of that.
That said, I'm not totally disappointed with the ending. It was definitely a season finale and not a designed series finale but the ending answered a lot of current questions and asked a few more. It left as a cliffhanger but your imagination should be able to take care of it from there.

Yeah NBC needs to make it happen for Syfy. They haven't had a quality show since Battlestar went off the air.
