Real World/Road Rules Challenge....The Island

Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Island is the sixteenth season of the reality television competition series, Real World/Road Rules Challenge. The challenge takes place in Bocas del Toro Province, Panama for broadcast on MTV Networks in the fall of 2008
The format will differ from the more recent incarnations of the series in that it will involve fasting to some degree in a Survivor inspired setting on an island in Panama. The cast was told not to bring electrically powered items such as blow dryers and curling irons as they would not be of use once on location.
Principle filming is slated to take place from June 10th through July 11th, 2008. The cast departed through the major Latin American hubs of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Miami International Airport on June 8th, 2008 to Tocumen International Airport, Panama where they boarded a small commuter aircraft en route to their final island destination.
