That’s actually why the series changed so much and got more series in the last few seasons right?
Someone told the creator or director that basically the show premise was getting stale and boring and he needed to change it up to keep people interested.

The episodes with the guys just shooting the bull and getting into shenanigans were the best. The furry episode

No doubt, but the whole formula was starting to get stale. He can only turn down the big movie and frick everything up only to get what he wants right at the end so many times

This is actually a really good idea. Doug Ellin is still trying (I think?) to get a new show off the ground. Haven't heard much about it since they shot the pilot last year. When it doesn't pan out, I'd love to see an Entourage "reboot" with Caan representing a different star with a couple of friends tagging along. You could have Ari Gold making an appearance here and there but in what capacity, I'm not sure. Lloyd could be the agent of the star that Caan represents. Bring back Drama who is also represented by Caan and Lloyd and is now taking on "old man" type roles. Those are the only carryovers I'd consider.

This show just got annoying because it was a constant cyle of:

I don’t really care for Adrian Grenier as an actor and I hated his character. It ruined the show for me.
