Breaking Bad
Homeland
House of Cards
True Detective
Dexter
The Americans
Sopranos
Prison Break
24

Of this list, I am almost done with Breaking Bad and have watched all of Homeland and the first two seasons of The Americans. Which should be next in line for me? Also, nominate something that isnt on the list that is similar in genre if you please. Thanks.

What does it say about me if I've never seen any of those?

Of your list, The Sopranos. If you haven't seen them already, The Wire and/or The Shield, for those not on your list.

House of Cards is supposed to be awesome, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

My brother is a huge Dexter fan and has the entire series on DVD. My best friend has True Detective season 1 on DVD so both of those are easily accessible.

Dexter and Prison Break both fall off quite a bit, but they start as well as any on the list. But I think they have to be at the bottom because of the way they end.

House of cards is awesome and top level quality. It's also not as much of a commitment as BB

And the new season comes out in a couple weeks so you should be able to stride right into it as it comes available

I'll go off of only the shows I've seen.

Breaking Bad/True Detective
Dexter (seasons 1-4 were fricking awesome, but it fell off hard)

Hope I don't get lynched for never seeing the Sopranos. I've only seen a few episodes.

Also, for those who haven´t seen HOC, I think you really should watch the original one (BBC from the late 90´s and on Netflix). It is amazing.

Good summary (though I couldn't get into House of Cards).

Dexter is hard to rate, b/c seasons 1-4 and 5-8 are night and day.

24 is a guilty pleasure, but the best binge show in history.

Haven't seen Homeland, True Detective or The Americans. Currently on Season 4 of Dexter:

Breaking Bad
Dexter
House of Cards
Sopranos
24
Prison Break (might be a couple spots higher if they ended after season 2)

I would probably throw Justified in there. It may not be at the top of that list, but it is definitely in that list...for me anyways.

I second Justified, great show with intriguing characters and outstanding acting. I would also recommend Fargo if you haven't seen it yet.

Fargo

Was fantastic. Like, shockingly good. Best thing since Breaking Bad, IMO. Too bad Hulu got the exclusive rights.
