OK. How exactly are the cables routed? What inputs are used on the Denon and what cables are outputting to the TV? I need to have this exact information to troubleshoot.

Well right now i have my bluray and my directtv hooked up through hdmi and then an hdmi going to the tv. My xbox went out on me and i had a back up that does not have hdmi and only compnent cables. I tried every which way to hook them up to the reciever but had no luck.
