I've never watched a marathon of any show but need to DVR the last 8 episodes of the final season. Am I correct in assuming that they start with the pilot episode and run them continuously 24 hours a day until the last episode airs?

I saw an article by VG in tv guide that they're going to do something special for the marathon. Tarentino is apparently a big fan of the show, so he got together with the creators and amc and reordered all the episodes to make it like pulp fiction. Should be interesting.

Would be awesome if someone would post the date/time central they those last 8 are playing. I think I've got the right ones, but would love to make sure.

It starts this Friday at 2 CST. I believe they are having a Walking Dead marathon after BB.

ETA: This is the time the pilot starts. I'm going to start DVRing a few episodes before I think the 8 start just to be sure.

Thank you! But it's interesting that the marathon starts here at noon on Friday and 11 in Louisiana.

Why don't you just torrent them and have them all in just a few minutes.

The last time they had a marathon (week leading up to finale) they broke it up into blocks as opposed to 24 hours straight. I can't remember offhand but I think it was like 8-12 episodes a day. Of course, this could be different.

Not likely... It will prob be like the marathon they ran leading up to the series finale. Episodes will run from like 9am-midnight.

I am 100% positive they did not run the marathon in the 1am-7am time frame last time they did this.

They didn't. I think the episodes stopped around 4am Eastern and started mid afternoon.

Just looked on my DVR, the Pilot ran on Wed the 25th at 7pm. So they ran 61 episodes in 96hrs (give or take)

This time they are running 27th-31st? So basically they same number of episodes in the same time frame.
