Is it wrong that this cliffhanger worries me more than when Henry got shot?
I had to look ahead on my recording schedule to make sure there was an episode next week and the show wasn't going on a break.

She shouldn't be mad at all. This is gonna be one of those classic tv/movie situations where in real life it would just take like a 5 minute explanation to smooth things over but no one ever just explains themselves and the offended party never wants to hear it. Dinner for Schmucks literally did a whole movie based off this premise

I don't think she's mad bc he isn't psychic. She's mad because she was lied to for so long and feels like a fool.

Yea, that's what I was getting at. Although I don't know why he couldn't have said he took the receipt from the tax man.

I guess I get that. But to be fair he was already pretending to be psychic when they met, and he was only doing that to avoid going to jail. In addition, even though it isn't ever outright said its heavily insinuated that if the dept finds out he isn't really psychic he won't be able to work cases for them anymore. Since Jules is obviously a high ranking member of the police dept, telling her would've put her in a very difficult position

I will say that Even though Shawn is afraid of what will happen if Chief finds out. I don't think Chief Vick would do anything to him.

Also almost all of Shawn's methods involves illegal breaking and entering and whatnot that would definitely not be allowed except that he pretends to get visions

That's what I thought was going to happen until they showed her sitting there while Shawn and Henry were talking and she was noticeably upset.

Did anyone else keep thinking that she was going to start laughing at the end? It just felt so weird and overdramatic, I thought it was outtakes from a scene they cut and his reaction was just as over the top.

He had just had the conversation with his dad about not screwing it up. And then had the vision of all the Jules memories and how good things are difficult.
He knew he had to be honest.

just finished. one of the great episodes ever IMO 
I can honestly say I wasn't prepared for the ending, but I figured she would react that way once it started. I know it's only a tv show but they got me hooked in and I legit feel for Shawn. poor bastard.

Honestly I always thought the department just sort of played along. And to do that this episode when so many episodes in the past were far more questionable as to his psychic abilities seemed way out of left field. She figured out he isn't psychic because of a ticket in his jacket? Come on, son.

Holy shite. Awesome episode. I do get slightly annoyed when they make complete jokes out of serious things (like making mobsters bumbling idiots), but still solid. And that ending slapped me pretty hard...definitely wasn't expecting that shite.
That's what I thought was happening. But then she started putting two and two together and I was shocked. When he started talking I sat up in my bed and started saying "no fricking way.." Interested in seeing where they take this, and I'm glad they did it now and not in the season finale.
Also, it's awesome they've waited this long...I didn't see it coming because I'm to the point where I don't even see Shawn as faking it anymore. I just see it as him doing what he does, even though its obviously a big deal that nobody knows outside of Henry and Gus.
Can't wait for next week.
