Another good episode. I like that they are on the road.

I thought it was hilarious that went to an Indian Casino, but it was a Curry not Jerky Indian Casino.

I tried to watch this show. I really gave it a chance. Several episodes last season and both last night.

It was just "let's pack as much blood and guts and smartass as we can into the 30 minutes AMC gives us."

Very meh.

IMO it's already better than TWD, which is basically what you described as well, except I find it refreshing to have some legit humor in it, whereas TWD is all doom and gloom.

My wife watches is and laughs with me. That says a lot about this show. My wife would never watch TWD, she hates gore, but we binged Preacher and watched the one last night, she loves it.

What? You mean TWD. Because this show is already better than TWD by a mile.

I finally got around to watching the first two episodes. Really, really well done. A couple of things:

-Cassidy asks about Jesse's mom's family, and Jesse blows it off. Looks like we may get some Jodi, T.C. and Grandma in our future

-The Grail will be involved this season. Since they have diverted so much from the source material, I'm interested to see how they fit in. Herr Starr is a great villain.

-She She's is a real strip club off Chef Menteur. Its a black club, but having it in the second episode cracked me up.

-Why doesn't the Word of God work on the Saint of Killers? It worked on him in the comic. Not sure how I feel about that.

-It was a class act dedicating the first episode to Steve Dillon, may he rest in peace.

I have literally never heard anyone else say this about the show. It's fricken hilarious and they follow the source material fairly well. It beats TWD by a long shot.

Solid tv all the way

I guess you didn't get the foreshadowing in the aquarium in that scene.

No, I caught the chest in the aquarium. I'm just wondering if they're going to treat it similar to how the comic did - Jodi, T.C., Grandma, the coffin, John Wayne helping Jesse survive...

Just watched premiere. Great show.

They wasted no time.

Someone remind me... How did the other angel, the short bald one, die? Did he do something in order to get the Saint of Killers or was he killed down in hell?

He was killed in hell by the Saint of Killers while making the deal for him to kill the preacher.
