i don't think anyone has been able to view it in UHD yet? at least i'm not aware of a 4k source stateside that's streaming the content.

the UHD blu-ray is being released on 3/28, so i'll probably just wait until then. can't wait, it will look amazing.

*SPOILERS BELOW*

I thought the episode sucked except for the baby iguana escaping from the snakes.

Penguins, sloths, lemurs, crabs. Ugh. Couldn't find a more boring group of animals.

There's only so much going on on Islands that aren't Madagascar.

And those ants killing the crabs with acid was both awesome and terrifying.

And they have already done an entire series on Madagascar

SPOILERS

dude you didn't find the penguins fascinating? They walk 50 miles to the coast, where they risk their lives to jump in. Then swim out 50 miles, get food, swim back and attempt to get on land. Followed by a 50 mile hike back to camp and defend their young.

So the first episode (Islands) aired this past weekend on three networks (BBC, AMC, and I think NatGeo maybe??). But I go to check my guide for this weekend, and the only channel that is airing the new episode (Mountains, I think) is the BBC channel, which I do not get apparently.

What the frick happened to the "three network event" thing? Are the rest of the episodes not going to air on the other networks, and only on BBC? If so, I am gonna be pretty pissed off. I've waited forever for this shite to air. Also, why the hell would this not be on Discovery again??

It's coming on BBC America again this Thursday night. Maybe the other channels too ?
