admittedly, i haven't seen the movie...mainly because i don't want to mess with nostalgia.
I am a huge "Stooge-o-phile". I know I've seen every episode with Moe, Larry, Shemp, and/or Curly.
Most with Joe
Few with Curly Joe.
I found that Farrelly Bros. "Stooges" was not a ripoff, but an homage. I thought the way they introduced all of the Stooges' slapstick gags was very good. Not all at once, but at an even pace. I also thought Sean Hayes' Larry and Will Sasso's Curly were very good, considering. Will Sasso was better than Joe Besser or Curly Joe DeRita ever were.
I found myself laughing heartily at times, remembering the time in the mid-70s when my mom got cable TV and I was first introduced to the Stooges.
Also, Sofia Vergara and Kate Upton did not hurt either.
It did not ruin my memory of the Stooges at all. Image: http://gifsoup.com/webroot/animatedgifs2/1363222_o.gif
