I just finished season two. Does stuff start getting explained in latter seasons? Every time something kind of gets explained there is also 10 more questions added. I really like the show but the non explained is starting to wear me down.

Not every single thing is explained in the context of the show, but I think all the important ones are, like what exactly the Island is.

And Season 3 is great. Debatably has the greatest finale of all time.

I am on record as stating I think Lost was a complete waste of time. Get ready for intriguing story lines that go nowhere.

I'll say it again, if you're in it for the characters alone and forgive the narrative, you'll enjoy it. If you're in it for the mystery and storytelling, you'll have a very rough ride. You may not hate it, but I would find it hard pressed to enjoy it without the community and theories like Super-Psychic Walt and stuff. THAT was fun. You won't have that real interaction.

Just finished. It was entertaining. It will give you clues but doesn't take you where you think you are going half the time.

I mean, they DO explain this, but their explanation totally sucks.

This, x1,000,000.

The online conversation about the show was better than the show.

Hits the nail on the head.

If you are in it for the characters, you will be totally satisfied.

If what you enjoy about it is exploring and uncovering the mystery element or the sci-fi underpinnings, you will be completely and totally pissed off by the entire final season.

If you don't like unexplained stuff don't watch it. The creators pretty much just made up shite as they went along.

It is a fantastic show and no, not everything will be laid out for you in a tight little package. You will have to use your imagination a little and that is what makes that show so good. That and the characters are fantastic.

Just enjoy the show, watch the entire thing and dont look for every single answer to be laid out.

I am about to start my second watch of it.

Imo LOST over explained some stuff to try and service a lot of the fans who demanded answers. Questions like "what are the whispers?" Didn't need answering, but alas they were. And a lot of things like that came across as shite story telling.
