Haven't really seen a thread on this show. I'm liking it so far. I've watched all of season 1 and current on season 2. Eva Green plays the part of being possessed very well. I like how dark the show is.

I will say, the end of Sundays show was very disturbing.

It was my favorite new show last year. Haven't had a chance to watch the new season yet, it's waiting on my dvr. Eva green is amazing in her role.

Just got all caught up on Season 2. Disturbing isn't the word for it. Downright demented maybe. Love the show, but man is it into some dark dark shite.

I'm fixing to start season 1, but I need some critical information here first: does Eva Green show her boobs just once, or multiple times?

Just watched last week's episode.

What a great episode. Loved seeing the refinement of Miss Ives under the Cut-Wife. Wished some more folks on here watched and we could discuss. It has some very dark elements but it's a fun watch IMO.

i actually watched PD instead of GOT because i really had no desire to watch ramsey snow (bolton) rape sansa stark while he makes theon greyjoy watch.

so instead i got to watch a witch take out the heart of a dead baby an sew it into a Miss Ives life size puppet while a room full of other puppets watched in horror.

i'm not sure i made the right choice.

I'm glad we finally got the back story on Ives. It was disturbing, but it's interesting television.

And it's wonderfully acted by Eva Green. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Josh Harnett's story vs. the Dr. Frankenstein stuff.

Just binged the entire first season On Demand. Missing Episode 4 of Season 1 for some reason. Regardless, great show. I wanted to watch it when it came out, but I didn't have Showtime. I know what I will be doing tonight.

Emo Frankenstein is the worst part of the show.

Actually, I think Frankenstein has one of the most interesting plots. Obviously, he wants to keep the girl (new creation) for himself. Will see how Elaire or whatever his name likes that prospect.

I feel so sorry for that guy . . . "creation" or whatever. I mean, it really is a sad situation.

Do you mean John Clare? The name taken by the Creature from the famous British poet?

He will lose his fricking mind if Frankenstein doesn't allow him to have Lily. More than likely, however, Lily will fall for Frankenstein, who has learned from his mistakes with John Clare and has treated Lily with kindness and patience. He is also quite taken with her beauty and, like his Creature, is a lonely man scared of love and living, pouring himself into his work rather than into his relationships. Which is kind of the whole point of the Frankenstein story.

I foresee Lily rejecting John Clare's attempts at affection and instead turning to Frankenstein. Frankenstein will logically fight against her love, knowing that it could mean his death by John Clare's hand and knowing that he could never really bring Lily around what have become his friends (or at least his companions) since he used Bronagh's body to create her and Ethan will certainly not take kindly to that. Additionally, she is a reanimated corpse and there are all sorts of moral conundrums there. That whole subplot could frankly be its own show.

Also, Frankenstein's wrestling with his demons is incredibly interesting. "Emo Frankenstein" is a massive undercut against one of the best aspects of the show.

It was an interesting episode. I wonder if it wouldn't have been better to intersperse Vanessa's past with the Cut-Wife throughout the season, but I am glad we now know where she learned everything and how her past is coming back to bite her with this evil arse Evelyn Poole aka Madame Kali bitch. Also, I think it's great that rather than say her name is Ev-al-inn she says it Eve-linn.

I really fear for the doctors life, now.

This show is like my own little guilty pleasure.

I loved the episode tonight. I won't spoil anything but there are soooo many things going on in this series it's unbelievable.
